The

Woke up Saturday morning and was just leaving home to run errands. Went
to open my garage door but door wouldn't open. I found that one of the
door springs was broken. Checked Angie's List for Garage Door Repair in
my area - found Door Works. Highly rated so I gave them a call. Spoke
with Jay - explained the situation - he said he could get someone out to
fix the spring within an hour or so.
Repair guy showed up about an hour and a half later. Very professional -
worked quickly and replaced both springs. Am VERY impressed that I was
able to get it repaired so quickly on a Saturday and was able to get on
with my day. Will be using them in the future for all of my garage door
needs!

Bjerga- I requested estimates from 4 different companies. Two gave
me quotes over the phone; two came in person. Door Works came in person.
The estimator was on-time. He stated who he was and what company he was
from before coming up the step to the door.
The estimate was very much in line with two of the other companies (the
fourth company was more than double). The estimator quoted me the exact
price and stated what was included in the price, as well as the
warranty. The company that came prior to Door Works was very pushy and
unprofessional, so the Door Works rep was a stark contrast.
He did the work in about 30 minutes, showed me how to lube the door (as
he did it), what to look for next time a garage door opener is needed,
etc. He was friendly, professional and not pushy at all. We have used
Door Works for service in the past - since they're local and have been
in business for many years, I am confident the work they did will be
great. Their installer was an excellent representative for their
company. I will definitely use their services again in the future.

Harrington- I've only joined Angie's list in the past week, since we
are planning an upcoming large kitchen and bath remodel. In looking over
various service providers in my area, I wasn't surprised to see Door
Works listed with an A+ rating. We have used them over several years for
various garage door repairs and upgrades, including adding a keyless
garage entry. They even programmed our keys and car to open both doors.
Unfortunately, this upcoming remodel must include replacing a sagging
garage lintel, but our architect pointed out the replacement opportunity
also enables us to enlarge and widen both garage doors. We've already
received a competitive estimate for the new doors from Door Works and
our previous positive experiences with them ensures we use them again.
They are simply excellent!

Burger- garage door didn't open - we were stuck outside due to kid
lock on front door - came in less than 30 minutes - got us inside house
- found problem with door - estimated - fixed on the spot once we
accepted estimate - next day owner found discount was not deep enough -
called us and charged less than the estimate to my credit card -

satisfaction. Very polite. Helped me move a few things in garage to make
room for installation. Above and beyond -- a tip was in order! Not his
place to move and put back, but he did. Would recommended for service
